24 podcast is an important part of the program structure of the JOJ 24 news television and the noviny.sk portal. Our podcasts are not traditional audio formats, but video-podcasts with the added visual value. TV JOJ and JOJ 24 news editors create them in studios with a camera. They reach not only regular podcast listeners via audio platforms, but also TV viewers and online users. They focus on current political, economic, cultural and social topics that move our society.
JOJ podcasts are continuously expanding their thematic areas. Among the most successful ones are for example Sme v kaviarni – political satire in the form of comments by Arpád Soltész and Peter Tkačenko, JOJ Zdravie with journalist Marcela Fuknová, JOJ History with documentary filmmaker Veronika Homolová Tóthová, Na hrane TV JOJ, as well as OK podcast with musician Ondrej Kandráč, or LeKár a IMunita with moderator Iveta Malachovská and gastroenterologist Ladislav Kužel. The Na nervy podcast is created in cooperation with IPečko, and we also have a sports podcast Prvá liga.
In 2024, new features such as travel, economics or sports podcasts will be gradually added to the current offer. Once again, the audience has something to look forward to.

Eleven-year-old WAU is a universal television station, which Slovak viewers know as the home of foreign crime and detective series, as well as series from the medical or paramedical environment.
Its programme includes still extremely popular titles such as Castle, Criminal Minds, The Rookie, CSI: Las Vegas, Miami and New York, as well as other popular acquisition series such as Dr. House, Numb3rs or Ghost Whisperer. Viewers who enjoy mysterious and thrilling crime cases will also find such classic evergreens as Columbo; Murder, She Wrote; Diagnosis: Murder; Walker, Texas Ranger; and Midsomer Murders on its screens.
In 2025, WAU will also bring its viewers the premiere seasons of Magnum, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star and C.S.I.: Vegas. In addition, it will launch several new series, including the light-hearted detective series Elsbeth, the crime series The Irrational, the action-drama Fire Country, the medical series Good Sam and the exciting miniseries For Her Sins.
WAU’s programme line-up is regularly updated with crime docuseries. For instance, their fans can look forward to the premiere of Killer Cases.
WAU is switched on every day by almost 11% of the Slovak population, i.e. approximately 505,000 people. On a monthly basis, WAU reaches up to 51% of the population, i.e. 2,375,000 people.

In Slovakia, there are only two exclusively Slovak-language TV stations aimed at children viewers – JOJko and Ťuki TV, both part of the JOJ Group. In 2025, they will continue to deliver quality entertainment, education and a diverse range of programmes that will delight both children and parents.
JOJko
Available in over one million Slovak households, JOJko is regularly watched by one in two children under the age of 9 and is the favourite channel for almost one in three children. The creators are aware of this massive fan base and strive to both entertain and educate them.
The JOJko programme consists of foreign acquisitions, Czechoslovak fairy tales and its own productions. Children enjoy the adventures and songs of Sníček, Spievankovo, Dúhalka, MalinyJam, the series Jojo, to vážne?!, Ekofaktor, Zoopark or the show Babička rozprávaj (Granny talk) about Slovak traditions. Popular acquisition series include Paw Patrol, Masha and the Bear, Pat and Mat or Sponge Bob.
JOJko does not entertain children only through television, but also at events in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Music and entertainment events with sports activities, such as the JOJKO BIKE CUP, allow children to compete, sing and dance with their favourite performers. The music of our musicians (Spievankovo or Fíha tralala) is also available through books, CDs and DVDs.
News on JOJko in2025:
– Follies from Spievankovo (own production): a unique 10-part series for children about good behaviour in everyday life. It is full of songs, funny stories and positive role models.
– How to Train Your Dragon: Journey into the Unknown I (Acquisition).
– 100% Wolf: The Book of Hath II (Acquisition): An action-packed, fun-filled animated series from Australia where the main character Freddy faces magical challenges.

Nearly 5% of children aged 4 to 14, or around 30,000 people, tune in to JOJko every day. On a monthly basis, JOJko reaches up to 20% of children, i.e. 124,000 children.

Film TV station JOJ Cinema started its broadcasting in 2015 as the first Czecho-Slovak station with which JOJ Group entered the Czech market. Since then, it has been supplying audiences in both countries with the latest blockbusters and exclusive premieres of the best films of all genres. In its daily broadcasts it offers a varied programme for everyone – romantic comedies and dramas for women, action films, thrillers, horror and science fiction (not only) for men, as well as animated fairy tales and family films for the whole family.
In 2025, premiere highlights of its rich offer will be, for example, high-quality period titles with a star-studded cast. Among others, the biographical war drama Lee: The Frontline Photographer starring Kate Winslet, the comedy drama Air: The Birth of a Legend starring Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jason Bateman and Viola Davis, the French romantic film The Taste of Things starring Julliett Binoche and the biographical film Race for Glory about the rivalry between car giants Audi and Lancia during the racing era of the 1980s.
A star-cast will also appear in the comedy novel Fabulous Four, starring Susan Sarandon, Megan Mullally, Bette Midler and Sheryl Lee Ralph.
JOJ Cinema will not disappoint fans of action films and thrillers. They can look forward to the action sci-fi thriller Survive, the horror thriller Never Let Go with Halle Berry, action thriller Red Right Hand with Orlando Bloom or dystopian film Civil War.
For the little ones, JOJ Cinema has prepared, among many other children’s films, animated cartoons such as Sylvanian Families: Freya’s Gift and Little Emma.

CS Film stays true to its unique position in the field of broadcasting classic Czech and Slovak films, which it brings to viewers without commercial interruptions. It broadcasts up to seven feature films a day.
CS Film’s programme follows the tradition of showing films from the golden fund of Czech and Slovak cinematography, with up to 90 % of the titles dating back to before 1989. The station also regularly enriches its offer with Czech television films from the 1960s to the 1980s and other titles that were not frequently broadcast after 1989.
In 2025, CS Film will bring classic films such as Angel in the Mountains, Black Barons, The Good Soldier Švejk, The King of Šumava, The Death of the Beautiful Deer and many more. Newer favourites will include hits such as Dědictví aneb Kurvahošigutentág, Báječná léta pod psa, I Served the King of England or Snowboarders.
The additional morning block before 10:15 is always dedicated to the youngest viewers, where nurturing, educational and musical programmes from JOJ production alternate with cult Czech animated series. In 2025, children audience will once again enjoy animated classics such as Broučci (Beetles), Mach a Šebestová, Krakonošovy Pohádky (Krakonoš´s Fairytales) and About Mikeš.

Our streaming service celebrated its first year of service and to this date provides entertainment for more than 300,000 users. It offers thousands of hours of movies, series, shows, documentaries, programs for children and sports fans, from our rich production and acquisition portfolio. This is also why the average viewer spends up to 113 minutes per day on it.
We are also opening JOJ play for partners of the Valetin network, who have the opportunity to share their content to a wider audience base through our platform.
In addition to the fact that it is possible to target advertising on JOJ play in the usual way, as the clients are already used to, we can target also to BIG SCREENs. We deliver video ads to the viewer in their natural environment, in the living room, on their tablet or mobile phone – wherever they are near the screens.

A sense of belonging is always important, and every year TV JOJ translates it into selfless cooperation with the state, social, cultural or charitable organizations.
This year, since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, everyone has been trying to help in any way they can. For example, the TV JOJ Foundation has teamed up with MAGNA, an organization that distributes medications and medical supplies to hospitals in war-affected areas – it supported a public fundraiser via media and has also contributed €10,000. Another form of help was the Concert for Ukraine, where artists joined TV JOJ and its foundation to help publicize the Magna fundraising to the general public. The TV JOJ Foundation together with the J&T Foundation also organized material humanitarian aid, in which TV JOJ employees and other people from all over Slovakia collected necessary food, clothing as well as other consumer goods, and the foundations arranged for them to be transported by trucks and wagons to orphans and mothers who had to flee from war zones. The two foundations, in cooperation with Turancar, also arranged for the transport of aid and also provided free transport for Ukrainians within Slovakia, even to Prague.
The TV JOJ Foundation also continues to support the projects of the National institute of Children’s Diseases in Bratislava, keeps on supporting children’s sports activities, succeeded in expanding Slovak floorball league to other elementary schools and confirmed JOJ Group’s close cooperation with Junior Chamber International Slovakia.
TV JOJ, in cooperation with the TV JOJ Foundation, has also announced fundraiser to help child patients in psychiatric clinics in Slovakia, and annually helps underprivileged families and provides them with concrete material assistance thanks to sponsors via the Donated Christmas project.
Both romance and detective plots in the new series, as well as entertainment in a number of original shows. This is the Prima PLUS TV channel, which brings the best of the Prima group’s production to Slovak screens.
In 2024, there will be no shortage of premiere episodes of the family series ZOO and the crime series Zákony vlka. Every evening, the contestants introduce their home-made recipes (and often their personalities too) in the show Prostřeno! Jan Kraus and Honza Dědek will entertain the audience in their successful talk shows with well-known guests. And Fotr na tripu will show what it is like to take two little daughters on a road trip to the Caucasus, the Arabian Peninsula and even beyond the Arctic Circle.
In the following seasons, the masters of improvisation will continue to entertain the audience in Prima Partička. Famous Czech handymen will reveal their best hints and tips in the legendary Receptáři Prima nápadů, Vychytávky Ládi Hrušky or Libovky Pepy Libického. And the legendary Zdenek Pohlreich will guide viewers around restaurants through TV screens in the program Áno, šéfe!, which has changed the view on gastronomy not only in the Czech Republic.
