Miša Richterová, a typical Bratislava resident, is an aspiring, ambitious editor and presenter of a social magazine on TV JOJ. After an embarrasing stunt, which is accidentally broadcasted live, the management “punishes” Miša by transferring her to the regional branch of the TV in Košice. The East?! But there is nothing there! Well, there is now. Miša is there. She comes to Košice with conviction that she will be a star in the local newsroom. At the same time, she is counting down the days until she can return home. But the Easterners will show her that she is not as special as she thinks and that she still has a lot to learn from the locals. And that she may even find love there. Or two...

Slovak series full of love from exotic Turkey

A family saga of female strength, prejudice and courage

Proud Zita Zimanová and her family are trying to save the Ranch and the whole farm where they breed precious horses. The 12th series of dramatic and humorous medical cases is coming to our screens. The cases will be handled by characters from the past series as well as the heroes, who, from different reasons, are coming back to St. Martin’s Hospital after a long break.

The charming Adam Ondruš (Marián Mitaš) has problems with his teenage daughter and suffers from a disease, the progress of which would mean the end of his career as a surgeon. Roman Varga (Richard Autner) is hiding a big secret from everyone, and we see Braňo Srnčík (David Uzsák) fighting for his own ambulance with Tomáš Mišiak (Juraj Hrčka). Viewers can also look forward to the return of the popular trio Los Kriplos – Srnčík (Juraj Ďurdiak), Čierny (František Kovár), Hrdlička (Emil Horváth). The unwanted humour of Dr. Maxová (Zuzana Kanócz) and Dr. Balog (Alexander Bárta), who comes to the hospital as a patient haunted by fate, will not be missing either. Looming over everything is the conflict between Rita Bílá-Dejvická (Henrieta Mičkovicová) and Barbara Vladárová (Viktória Šuplatová). Did she really kill her father to take over the hospital? And will Barbora let her get away with it or will she finally fight back?

The popular series return with new episodes to once again offer viewers an entertaining and realistic look into the ins and outs of partner relationship. Thanks to its excellent cast and extraordinary format, the series has gained a loyal audience not only on TV screens, but also on social networks and streaming platform JOJ play, where it is achieving record-breaking viewer ratings.

Short episodes from the life of a mature couple provide a light-hearted look at living together as partners, The main couple of the series is portrayed by Tomáš Maštalír and Diana Mórová, whose natural on-screen chemistry, supported by the fact that they were once a couple in real life, adds authenticity and deeper dimension to the series. In each episode, they charmingly, humorously and with a subtle dose of irony, bring to the audience the conflicts and everyday situations of an ordinary couple.

Funny sketches from partner life, portrayed excellently by Diana Mórová and Tomáš Maštalír, will keep viewers entertained from the end of May 2023. 

The series has immediately become the TOP program of the younger audience with 8.1% viewership and 26.8% market share. It also represented the most watched non-advertising program in the universal target audience as viewers favored it over competition, achieving 9.5% viewership and 22.8% share in the target group aged 12+.

The series was the most successful when it premiered in the female 45-54 target group with a viewership of up to 14.0%, and female viewers aged 35-44 with a 12.6% viewership. Overall, the female universal audience achieved an 11.8% viewership, while the female viewers aged 12-54 reached rating up to 10.8%.  

The series continues to confirm its market leadership in the evening broadcasting with more than 300 thousand viewers aged 12+ tuning in regularly in the following broadcasting weeks. 

TV JOJ and Prima group have filmed a series based on the worldwide hit – the most successful French Netflix series – the popular dramedy series Call My Agent with a brilliant cast of Czech-Slovak top actors!

What do we not know about the actors, that they and their acting agents experience every day? The series Vytoč môjho agenta tells comedic stories from a casting agency. What does it take for agency team to win the battle, which brings many absurd and comical situations as well as touching moments and real human drama? The uniqueness of the whole project is complemented by a very funny model in which the acting stars represented by the agency play themselves.

The mega-successful Slovak series directed by brilliant Czech director Jan Hřebejk and versatile screenwriter Petr Koleček (the series Nový život, Hrobári, Lajna or Most!) continues in the second season, in which the fates of the main characters change unexpectedly. Viewers can once again look forward to unique characters in an original genre that has taken the Slovak audience out of the familiar series waters and will again stay true to its bold reputation.

The miniseries set in the Adriatic Riviera and the coastal police background is a loose sequel of the successful Czech TV Prima series Under water (Pod hladinou). The co-production series was filmed at one of the most beautiful Croatian locations, the Brač island. The audience can look forward to scenes on the open sea and underwater shots, on which the crew worked with professional divers.

Honza Zach, chief police officer and a former diver, comes to Croatia to get closure on his past while helping his Czech colleagues during the summer season. Together with his assigned partner, young Ed, they solve everyday cases of Czech and Slovak tourists, related to the sea, cruises, land and marina, where strange thefts and other crimes occur.

The series, based on the film of the same name, has been sold to more than a hundred television markets. The comedy crime drama is based on the main character, Professor Filip Koenig, whom viewers will love for his uniqueness, humor, and very specific behavior.
